Debbane and Co organized a seminar for its agricultural engineers in Homs to prepare for the launch of the new fungicide Luna Sensation by Bayer. With the presence of the technical team, regional managers, and all Debbane engineers, the seminar introduced the new pesticide, its features, properties, effects, and how to use it, along with presenting the results of field trials following its application.

Debbane and Co., in partnership with Enza Zaden, has introduced an innovative solution to support tomato growers in Syria with the launch of Tomato E15B.51282. This new tomato variety, developed with extensive research and collaboration, stands out for its exceptional tolerance to ToBRFV, a common threat to tomato crops. With its strong and robust plant structure, Tomato E15B.51282 exhibits a healthy growth pattern, yielding 5-6 fruits per cluster. The firm fruits, boasting a vibrant deep red color and firmly attached calyx, not only enhance visual appeal but also offer an extended shelf life and remarkable cold tolerance. Furthermore, this variety showcases an impressive tolerance to ToBRFV and Fol:0-2, ensuring increased productivity and sustainability for tomato growers in Syria.

Al Malika watermelon variety was launched in the Syrian markets by Debbane and Co, to stand out with numerous characteristics that make it a challenging competitor in the Syrian markets. Al Malika watermelon is considered the best early variety in terms of price and distinctive characteristics, including its fruit shape, pleasant taste, sweetness, and ability to withstand long-distance transportation. 
On another note, it is important to acknowledge the hard work of the farmers and the technical team, as the harvest of the fruits began on May 25, 2023, and continues until the present time. As an initiative to maintain the excellence of both the farmers and the variety, the company distributed labels to be placed on the products before entering the market. This makes Debbane and Co pioneers in overseeing the products from seed to fruit until reaching the market.

Success and continuous development are prominent foundations in the activities organized by Debbane. In line with this, the company's CEO, in the presence of the General Manager, conducted a workshop on creating effective presentations. The training covered essential strategies to make presentations engaging and attention-grabbing. Department managers showcased their own presentations, and diverse ideas were shared during the workshop. The focus was on activating communication skills and delivering ideas in a professional manner. This workshop reflects Debbane and Co's commitment to enhancing communication and presentation skills within the company, ensuring effective and professional delivery of ideas.

While strawberries are one of the main crops in Syria, this crop currently suffers from a myriad of problems and diseases.
In light of the latter, Debbane and Co. sponsored a scientific symposium entitled "Strawberry Production and Improvement" in cooperation with Al-Baath University and the Agricultural Engineers Association. This symposium was attended by great scientific figures as about twelve lectures were given in a row.
Most of the lectures revolved around strawberry problems and diseases, so it was important to provide solutions and help farmers increase productivity. Eng. Zuhair Al-Sit, Technical Director of the company, gave a presentation on the most important products offered by Debbane and Co. that help in the treatment and protection of plants from diseases.
 

Continuous follow-up of customers is one of the main points that distinguish Debbane & Co. and its specialized technical team. In this context, a team of engineers accompanied by the Regional Director of Klassman-Deilmann in the Middle East and Central Asia Engineer Rani Bassil visited the Ibn Al-Walid Company, which specializes in the production of agricultural mushrooms, in the Soukra area of Homs Governorate.
Mr. Abdel-Razzaq Al-Awda, who accompanied the company on the tour, spoke about the quality of the Potgrond 848, subject to ISO and RHP. This product is suitable for the growth needs of mushrooms as it helps them grow in a healthy disease-free environment and promotes better mycelium growth.
