Field Day in Al-Rimal Testing Station

On March 11, 2019, Debbane & Co held a special field day at al-Rimal al-Zahabieh (Golden Sands) Testing Station in Tartus, Syria, in the presence of farmers, distributors, nursery owners and several engineers at the company.

Eng. Nour Haidari, a seed specialist in Syria, gave a thorough explanation of the different varieties at the company, shed some light on the soilless culture project, then presented the varieties that would be examined during that field day.

Later on, participants toured the station and examined the techniques of soilless culture. They also got introduced to the commercial varieties at the company, such as: Mandaloun, Zenobia, Rindala, Dalal, Ipsilon and Natasha Tomatoes, and looked into the unique experiences of international companies such as Siemens, Apollo and Nickerson Zwaan.
