Filed Observation of Jameson Forage Corn Variety in Hama

On Thursday 10/25/2022, Debbane & Co. organized a filed observation day dedicated to the Jemison Forage Corn Variety in Hama Province (Syria). Several distributors and farmers took part in that field observation day. The day started with a presentation about the role of the Company in promoting agriculture and supporting farmers was delivered. Afterwards, the chief officer for Research & Development at American genetics explained, during a filed visit, the specificities of this variety, the maintenance such variety requires, such as irrigation, composting and disease eradication, to successfully grow crops of excellent quality and obtain the highest yield possible.

This event was attended by Mr. Achraf Bakir, head of the department of agriculture, Mr. Mustafa Al Hani, head of Hama’s agricultural department, Mrs. Racha Al Ali, head of the plant syndicate department, Mrs. Mukhlisa Younes, head of the agricultural extension department, Mrs. Shatha Kaddour, head of the agricultural extension section at Hama’s agricultural department, Mr. Firas Assad, head of the agricultural engineers syndicate office in Hama, Mr. Amar Issa, member of the agricultural engineers syndicate – Hama office. Moreover, Ms. Rim, head of agricultural information and media, and Mr. Mahfoud, head of the pesticides section in the protection department, have attended. Furthermore, American genetics commercial manager as well as chief officer for research and development were present. In addition, Mr. Ismail Al Howash, the agent, was attending. This event was held under the supervision of a group of engineers made of Abdelhamid Kandakji, Mahmoud Al Abdullah, Zouhair Al Set, and Diaa Hammoud.
