Agricultural seminar on seeds

Debbane and Co. held a seminar to discuss the status of agriculture in the Syrian South, in the presence of the company’s engineers from the governorates of Daraa, As – Suwayda, and Damascus.

The symposium’s goals centered around:

• Determining the strengths and weaknesses of the varieties of the commercial seeds we have and working on appropriate solutions.
• Discussing the results of the experiments held last season.
• Studying the reality of the agricultural market and working to introduce new varieties.

In conclusion, the seminar outputs centered around:

• Establishing workshops to assess the agricultural reality in the southern region and the internal regions
• Conducting periodic technical follow-ups to the experiments scattered throughout the regions in order to ensure the quality of introduced varieties.
