Field Day on Jameson and AGN717 Corn Varieties

On October 2, 2021, Debbane & Co. organized a field day on Jameson and AGN717 corn varieties in Deir Hafer and Al-Jisi village. The event was attended by the Director of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in Aleppo, the Head of Manbij Agricultural Service and the Head of Dayr Hafir Agricultural Service. A number of agricultural distributors coming from Aleppo and its countryside (Aleppo, Al-Safira, Tell Arn, Tel Hasel, Dayr Hafir), and a number of major farmers in Manbij, Dayr Hafir and Aleppo Media Center were also present.
After harvesting a Dunum of Jameson variety (productivity 1.25 ton/Dunum), the attendees observed the two varieties, and expressed their opinions in terms of plant size, Corncob specifications, and other specifications.
