United by their love for football, a group of farmers in Baniyas on the Syrian coast who grow a variety of Mandaloun tomatoes have decided to name their team “Mandaloun Tomatoes.”  This took place during the tournament held at the Clasico stadium next to the Al-Sun Gate tourist Complex on June 2, 2021. During the event, members of Debbane & Co. presented distinctive T-shirts to the players, giving a very good impression in an area that is the strongest in cultivating greenhouse tomatoes on the Syrian coast.
