YOUR RELIABLE SOURCE FOR LEADING AGRI BRANDS SINCE 1976
Medicinal and aromatic plants (such as cumin, anise and nigella) are among the main cultivations in the northern countryside of Homs Governorate.
This winter, our land has endured harsh conditions, from rainfall retention and frost waves to high humidity levels, all of which have led to plant diseases.
Due to such conditions, several problems have appeared, severely weakening the plants and causing wilts in the field, which led to their complete loss.
In order to treat those diseases, it is necessary to know the causes. Therefore, the technical team of Debbane & Co., represented by its Technical Manager, Eng. Zuhair Al-Sitt, Director of Bioorganic Materials, Dr. Wael Al-Matni, and Technical Engineer of Homs Governorate, Suleiman Al-Hassan, have taken samples of affected plants on April 25, 2021, and the results were as follows: Pseudomonass, Alternaria and Fusarium
Accordingly, a program that reflects the company’s vision of providing environmentally friendly solutions has been developed for the upcoming years. These solutions include pesticides such as NOVOTREAT, which sterilizes the seeds that are the main transmitter of disease from one season to another, and SCUDO, made of safe organic copper used during the blossom phase. This program enables the complete elimination of the aforementioned diseases and ensures a high-quality production.
