Field Tour for Examining Mandaloun tomato (mountain cultivation)

On February 8, 2021, Eng. Nour Haidari, a seed specialist in the coastal region, accompanied a group of tomato exporting company owners in Gulf countries around Mandaloun tomato fields (mountain cultivation) in Draykish, at an altitude of 950 meters. The visit included several villages, such as Bjannah Ain Addahab and Bait Yousef, where cultivation of this variety was found to be very successful.

During the visit, exporting company owners agreed with farmers to purchase the entire Mandaloun harvest for this year and next year, as it is the best product to be exported to the Gulf. Farmers also expressed their gratitude to Debbane & Co. for assisting them even in the process of selling their products for the best prices.
