Fostering Collaboration – DEBCO Welcomes Agriculture Students from Aleppo

As part of its commitment to enhancing scientific cooperation, Debbane & Co. hosted fifth-year students from the Faculty of Agriculture at Aleppo University on May 16, 2024, at its Aleppo office.

During the visit, engineers provided an overview of the company’s history, its branches, and the key products and services it offers to the agricultural sector. Students were also introduced to:

• Crop, vegetable, and fruit tree management methods.
• Fertilization and pesticide application techniques to boost yields while ensuring safety.
• New imported pesticides such as Luna Sensation, Rival Duo, Sivanto Prime, and Velum Prime.
• Advanced field forecasting and meteorological tools to predict crop infection timing.

The session also highlighted the dangers of using uncertified pesticides, stressing their potential harm to crops and the environment, and focusing on the importance of adopting a sustainable mindset when working in the field of agriculture.
