Seminar About Forage Corn Growing in Homs

On 10/24/2022, Debbane & Co organized a seminar about forage corn growing in Syria. This event was attended by the commercial manager and chief officer for research and development at American genetics, as well as from Aleppo, Mr. Ismail Al Howash, the agent.

Firstly, an overview about the Company’s history, previous activities in Syria, role in developing forage corn growing and the future of this sector was presented. Afterwards, a presentation was delivered by the chief officer for R&D at American genetics. He listed American genetics’ products, mainly the corn varieties produced by the company, and the new varieties that are tested in Syria. Furthermore, he explained how the appropriate environment for the growth of each commercial product (Jameson, Hamilton, AGN 711, AGN 720) can be provided, in addition to the maintenance of each product, which encompass irrigation, composting, and disease eradication.
