Soil Treatment Campaign in the Coastal Area

Debbane & Co organized a five-day campaign that included meetings with distributors and farmers in the coastal area, focusing on the nematicide Velum Prime from Bayer and the products NovoSafe and NovoTreat from Atomes. The technical features of these materials and the importance and method of their use were introduced within a practical and action-oriented program that takes into consideration the technical and economic aspects, in order to achieve the best return for farmers and the highest quality of fertilization and control. The main features of these products included increased production in addition to complete, effective and safe control of nematodes.

The discussion focused on the economical use of products, especially within the current circumstances. It also tackled the importance of obtaining good prices for these materials and stressed their high quality and the absence of any residual effect on the produced fruits. The materials were praised for being healthy and environmentally safe, which facilitates the exportation of the related products to all parts of the world.

We are still in the process of negotiating a reduction in the prices of these products by parent companies in order to further expand their use in the difficult economic conditions experienced in Syria.
