Technical support of Al Malika Variety

Under the technical support of Al Malika Watermelon Variety, the Debbane and Co. team conducted a series of field visits, notably to:

• Al-Suwayda region, accompanied by engineer Firas Al-Jabr and distributor Fouad Manzer to Basri al-Harir region at Al-Mazari Abu Essam Hasaba. The planted area touched 30 dunams.
• Daraa region along with engineer Hisham Al-Aizara and Nabil Al-Aishat to Al-Sahwa region at the farms of Abu Ihem. The planted area touched 40 dunams.

Al Malika is the earliest type of Watermelon. Its main features are:

• Attractive appearance
• Dark red flesh and sweet taste
• Fruit weight is about 10-12 kg
• Round to oval shape
• Good vegetative growth and coverage
• Very suitable for tunnel production
• Suitable for long-distance transportation
