Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Engineering.
• Agriculture field experience for at least 5 years
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare plans, materials, and data sheets related to field experiments.
• Liaise with trial station operations staff the execution of field operations and trials
• Test new products and evaluate methods on crops.
• Ensure efficient field collection of soil, water and crop data and process crop materials.
• Provide technical support to farmers in case of any need or problem that may occur.
• Process data and prepare drafts reports.
• Collaborate with farmers on joint trials.
• Design, develop and supervise the installation of equipment and instruments used to evaluate and process farm products and to automate agricultural operations.
• Design and use sensing, measuring, and recording devices and instrumentation to study the effects of temperature, humidity, and light on plants, or relative effectiveness of different methods of applying products
• Gather market data and suggest requested products in the market on management
